I'm One!!

Well everybody, it's official I turned 1 yesterday and I am now a toddler. It was a wonderful day, the day started with Mommy waking me up and giving me a waffle with a candle on it and singing me Happy Birthday. The waffle had some sweet stuff on it, I think Mommy called it "surip", it was yummy! Then we went to to visit Daddy at his work and I was serenaded by one of his coworkers who is a mariachi, I just didn't know what to think. We took daddy out to lunch and then I went home to rest up for the main event of the day!

We went to dinner at my favorite restaurant, Texas Roadhouse and Grandma & Grandpa Tye, Uncle Aaron, Averie, Grandpa Scott and of course Mommy and Daddy joined me. I really enjoyed the steak filet, baked potato, green beans and rice, oh and who could forget those yummy buttery rolls! The wait staff brought over a saddle and announced my Birthday to the whole restaurant and everyone said "Yeeha". After dinner we all headed back to my place for presents and CAKE!! I really enjoyed the cake and I loved that fact that everyone was eating cake with me, so much that I squealed really loud when anyone else was eating cake. When the cake was demolished it was off to take a bath and then I crashed!! What a day, turning 1 is hard work!!

A nice day at Sea World

Today I went to Sea World with my mommy and daddy, and we had a great time. I got to feed the dolphins, watch all of the fish in the gigantic aquarium get fed, watch the sea lion show, the beluga whale show, AND see Shamu!! Needless to say it was a busy day. My favorite was the beluga whale show, I kept clapping my hands and screaming, it was so cool! Hope everyone else had a great weekend!

Trick-or-treat!

Well I'm proud to say that I survived my 1st Halloween. It was so much fun, I got to dress up like a ladybug, see family and friends and I got to get CANDY! But mommy says I can't have any, wonder who's gonna eat my candy? Hmmm....

Speaking of mommy, I finally figured out how to turn my "mmmm" sound to "mama" and "mom". I think my mom really likes that, because she is constantly saying it to me.
This is me and Alex, the narcoleptic chicken (he fell asleep while we were trick-or-treating). Hope everyone had a great Halloween.

Cutest thing...EVER!!

This is Jana's mommy with an exciting interruption.

This evening, Jana officially did one of the cutest things I have ever seen her do. After I got home from work I was sitting in the recliner looking at a catalog. Jana crawled over to me and was standing at me feet, I assumed she was trying to grab the catalog, but I was wrong, I lifted the catalog up to keep it out of her reach and there was the cutest thing I have ever seen. She was actually squatting down peering under the catalog at me trying to get my attention!! It was sooo adorable. Then she of course had to make it even more adorable and squeal every time I saw she was peeking at me. Eric would ask her , "Where's mommy?" and she would peek under look at me and then squeal and of course I would then crack up, it was hilarious!! Look at ma new shoes!

So each day I am getting closer to walking. So Grandma Sandra decided it was time to take me out and get some fancy shoes to celebrate. They are called Mooshu Trainers, my mom thinks they are the cutest things, because they squeak when you walk. Supposedly they don't just squeak for fun, it is to help babies learn to put their heels down when they walk (the lady at the store says that all babies instinctively walk on their toes.) Well I don't really care about that, I think the best part is that you can change out the bows go on the toes, so it matches what you are wearing. Isn't that the coolest thing you have ever heard? I have an important announcement to make, I recently cut my 8th tooth!! Before you know it, I will have a mouth full of teeth. I am experimenting and trying all kinds of new foods with all of these wonderful teeth I am developing, it is so much fun. I have also taken an interest to animal sounds lately and I find that cow talk is much more intriguing than human talk. Therefore when anyone around me speaks the cow language I will politely "moo" back at them. For some reason mommy & daddy have started doing a lot of "cow talking" lately. Hmmmm......
I also recently attended my 1st wedding, here is a picture of daddy and I at the wedding.

Whew....What a Weekend!

I had quite the weekend. The biggest news is I finally got to meet the J's, Great Uncle Jeff & Great Aunt Judy. They packed up everything they own in their Toyota Tacoma and drove 5700 miles from Alaska and now they are here in the great state of Texas to stay. Since they live so far away I hadn't met them yet & I finally got to meet them! Of course I wasn't shy at all, I crawled right over to Aunt Judy and immediately made goo goo eyes at Uncle Jeff.

Then Sunday, mommy, daddy and I made our first trip to Live Oak Park. Grandpa Scott, Grandma Kandee, Uncle Aaron & Averie all met us there. Come to think of it, this was my 2nd picnic, we had so much fun. After we had our picnic, the bows tossed around a football and then we went to the lake and fed the ducks & watched people fish.

Once we got home daddy watched the Cowboys play and then mommy & daddy's friends Uncle Ben & Aunt Jennifer came over with Alex. Mommy & Aunt Jenn cooked dinner while I played with Alex & Uncle Ben, it was a great end to a wonderful weekend!

My New Grill

So I figured if I was gonna brag about all my teeth, I better have at least one picture to prove it. So here it is, me cheesing it and showing off my 6 pearly whites. 9 Months

Please forgive my mommy for hardly ever posting on my blog. I am so excited about the fact that I am 9 moths old now. I am crawling around really well, just like a pro. This has allowed me to cover a lot of ground and I am able to get into EVERYTHING!! I am also getting really good at pulling myself up and taking a few steps around the furniture. Needless to say my parents are quickly trying to baby proof the house. Who needs baby proofing anyway?

I had my 9 month check-up this last week, I now weigh a whopping 18lb 12oz, and I am 27 inches long!! I also just cut my 6th tooth this week, pretty soon and I won't even have to eat that nasty baby food! Dr. Davis says I am growing wonderfully! Everything is great except I have an ear infection (although my mom couldn't tell since I wasn't even acting sick) and I am now battling diarrhea and a nasty diaper rash from the antibiotics I am taking =( BUMMER!

Each day I am making new sounds and discovering new things. I can clap my hands, dance, and I even am starting to wave!! My parents love to listen to my laugh, so I try to entertain them with it as often as I can.

I am still trying to figure out the sippy cup thing, that is just weird...cold stiff coming out of a hard flat opening?? No thanks, I will take a bottle.

Time for an update!!

I have been so busy these days that I just haven't had time to keep you all in the loop. These days I enjoy inching my way over to my new found friend, Devlin the cat. Once I arrive at my destination, I prefer to grab a handful of cat hair. It doesn't matter how many times, I do it, it never seems to get old. I am also quite proud of my accomplishments, like when I pull myself up to standing position, I am so proud of myself!!

I love the water, this includes baths and swimming. I have been swimming several times this summer and am quite the little fish! Everyone says I have quite the personality, I am always smiling and happy. I am not talking yet, however I make several different sounds, including dada! Of course daddy thinks this is the best thing ever.

Mommy decided to go back to work full time (3- 12 hour shifts), so I still get to spend Sundays with daddy and now I get to spend 2 weekdays with Grandma Sandra! Although I have fun with daddy and grandma I sure do miss mommy, I have a hunch that she misses me too!

Tammy Two Teeth!!

So the big news these days is I am 6 months old now, and I have 2 teeth!! That's right, I have added 2 pearls to my already stunning smile.


I am growing like you wouldn't believe. My mommy and daddy say I will be crawling any day now too. That means I will soon have access to all kinds of things, I can't wait! Hope you guys are enjoying your sumer as much as I am. I have already been swimming 3 times!! Talk to you all soon!

Wow!! I am already 5 months!

Well, a lot has happened since I talked to you all. I had a visit from the Kaibo's and I got to play with my 2nd cousin Kaila, she is almost 2 years old.

So I don't know about all of you, but time sure does fly when you are having fun! I turned 5 months old on Mother's Day and my mommy and daddy are so proud of me. Since I am now 5 months old, I got to go to not only 1, but 2 graduations. On Friday we drove to Texas A&M to see "aunt" Meghan graduate with her Master's Degree. I had a lot of fun since I got to see Desmond, my Houston boyfriend. Then the next morning we got to see aunt Rebecca graduate from UNT with an Interior Design degree, mom says she is a sumo wrestler and then something else about a cum laude?? I don't know, but all I could tell is it means you are real smart and you get to wear a special sash when you graduate. At any rate, I got real familiar with my car seat that weekend, but mom and dad said I was an Angel!!

After aunt Rebecca's graduation I went to great aunt Joyce and uncle Paul's house. I got to meet my 2nd cousin Lorelei, it was so much fun meeting a little person who is a girl!! We totally bonded and as you can see we were quite the Main attraction!

On Mother's Day we went over to Rick's house and had BBQ!! Mmmm mmmm. I saw great aunt Kay, great grandma Dorothy, uncle Aaron, Kyle, Kelsey, and of course Rick. I got to go swimming for the first time and did you know that the water in the pool is made special, I just couldn't stop tasting it.

I got tired of just having milk all the time, so I have started eating cereal! I love to play with my feet and I am finding that they are quite helpful when I am trying to reach things. I also love to roll over on my tummy hold my head up and squeal!! Well that is all for now, talk to you soon!

***NEWS FLASH***
Mommy & I took uncle Aaron to Baton Rouge this past weekend for Kaila's 2nd birthday party. I had a blast swimming in the pool & working on my tan. I got to spend an afternoon with Tia Becky too which was lots of fun.

Long Time!!

Sorry it has been so long since I posted on here, but I had to fire my old publisher (since they were too slow) and hire a new one. Hopefully this one doesn't disappoint me and my fans. Well for those of you who don't already know I just recently celebrated my 4 month birthday, but I didn't get to have any cake!! I went to the doctor on Friday and I now weigh 12 lb 8 oz and I am 22 1/2 inches long!! My mom says I am growing like a weed.Not only am I growing in size, but I am also starting to do other things. I am smiling and laughing a lot and everyone says my personality is really starting to emerge. Whatever that means?? I am now somewhat mobile, so everybody better watch out! I roll from my back to my tummy and my arm gets stuck so I have to throw my butt and legs into the air and then push my feet to get it out, but in the process I end up turning a circle. Mom calls it "baby break dancing", but I don't find it funny at all.
A few weeks ago I had my first overnight stay. Mommy and daddy went to San Diego to celebrate their anniversary and they let me stay with Grandma Sandra and Grandpa Jerry for 3 whole nights!! They said I was pretty good and I sure did have fun playing with them. But really how could I be bad, I mean just look at me, all I have to do is bat my eyes and that's all it takes. My First Sleepover

So last week Mommy and I drove to Del Rio to visit my boyfriend Nick and his mom Auntie Amanda. The car ride wasn't bad, I just fell asleep and when I woke up we were there! I got to sleep in my boyfriends bed, but Daddy says that will never happen again!! I tried to tell him it was just his playpen and that Nick slept with his mom, but Daddy wouldn't listen to me.

Speaking of beds, I have decided that I like sleeping in my room much better than I like sleeping next to Mommy and Daddy. I think Mom and Dad sleep better and personally I like it too. My Mommy has decided to go back to work and that's fine with me because that means I get to spend more time with Daddy and Grandma Sandra. Daddy keeps me on Sundays and Grandma Sandra is gonna be coming over to my house one day a week and that means I can pretty much do whatever I want to that day. As the saying goes, "What happens with Grandma, stays with Grandma." Or is it "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas," hmmm, who knows? Well I am on my way to being a 10 pounder, I weighed 9lb 9 oz just the other day. Wow I Me doing what I do best...looking cute! need to go on a diet soon!

My First Valentine's Day!!

Well a few days ago I celebrated my first Valentine's Day. My mommy and I decided to surprise Daddy and go get some pictures taken. I wore this pretty pink dress that my mom got me and some pink shoes with flowers on them, mom said I looked real cute. Daddy was really surprised!! The best part about it was that I got PRESENTS!! .....and Grandma Sandra got to watch me while mommy and daddy went out. Mommy and daddy went to the movies and then they ate dinner at this fondue restaurant called the Melting Pot. To be quite truthful I wasn't all that interested in the place because I heard they don't serve bottles to the little ones. So I decided to stay home with Grandma and read books and play with my toys, we had a great time.

2 months....ALREADY???

So my parents are freaking out because I am 2 months as of today and they say I am growing way too fast. Here are some pictures my mom took of me the last few days. As I promised there are some pictures of my new studs. I am really starting to smile and show some of my personality to my parents, you are almost guaranteed a smile if you poke my nose.
