Long Time!!

Sorry it has been so long since I posted on here, but I had to fire my old publisher (since they were too slow) and hire a new one. Hopefully this one doesn't disappoint me and my fans. Well for those of you who don't already know I just recently celebrated my 4 month birthday, but I didn't get to have any cake!! I went to the doctor on Friday and I now weigh 12 lb 8 oz and I am 22 1/2 inches long!! My mom says I am growing like a weed.Not only am I growing in size, but I am also starting to do other things. I am smiling and laughing a lot and everyone says my personality is really starting to emerge. Whatever that means?? I am now somewhat mobile, so everybody better watch out! I roll from my back to my tummy and my arm gets stuck so I have to throw my butt and legs into the air and then push my feet to get it out, but in the process I end up turning a circle. Mom calls it "baby break dancing", but I don't find it funny at all.
A few weeks ago I had my first overnight stay. Mommy and daddy went to San Diego to celebrate their anniversary and they let me stay with Grandma Sandra and Grandpa Jerry for 3 whole nights!! They said I was pretty good and I sure did have fun playing with them. But really how could I be bad, I mean just look at me, all I have to do is bat my eyes and that's all it takes. My First Sleepover

So last week Mommy and I drove to Del Rio to visit my boyfriend Nick and his mom Auntie Amanda. The car ride wasn't bad, I just fell asleep and when I woke up we were there! I got to sleep in my boyfriends bed, but Daddy says that will never happen again!! I tried to tell him it was just his playpen and that Nick slept with his mom, but Daddy wouldn't listen to me.

Speaking of beds, I have decided that I like sleeping in my room much better than I like sleeping next to Mommy and Daddy. I think Mom and Dad sleep better and personally I like it too. My Mommy has decided to go back to work and that's fine with me because that means I get to spend more time with Daddy and Grandma Sandra. Daddy keeps me on Sundays and Grandma Sandra is gonna be coming over to my house one day a week and that means I can pretty much do whatever I want to that day. As the saying goes, "What happens with Grandma, stays with Grandma." Or is it "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas," hmmm, who knows? Well I am on my way to being a 10 pounder, I weighed 9lb 9 oz just the other day. Wow I Me doing what I do best...looking cute! need to go on a diet soon!

My First Valentine's Day!!

Well a few days ago I celebrated my first Valentine's Day. My mommy and I decided to surprise Daddy and go get some pictures taken. I wore this pretty pink dress that my mom got me and some pink shoes with flowers on them, mom said I looked real cute. Daddy was really surprised!! The best part about it was that I got PRESENTS!! .....and Grandma Sandra got to watch me while mommy and daddy went out. Mommy and daddy went to the movies and then they ate dinner at this fondue restaurant called the Melting Pot. To be quite truthful I wasn't all that interested in the place because I heard they don't serve bottles to the little ones. So I decided to stay home with Grandma and read books and play with my toys, we had a great time.

2 months....ALREADY???

So my parents are freaking out because I am 2 months as of today and they say I am growing way too fast. Here are some pictures my mom took of me the last few days. As I promised there are some pictures of my new studs. I am really starting to smile and show some of my personality to my parents, you are almost guaranteed a smile if you poke my nose. Rough Day!!

So this last Friday was pretty much the roughest day of my life since I was born. I went to see my doctor and she made me get 5, yes that is 5 as in F-I-V-E shots. Then my mom thought it would be a great idea to have the doctor pierce my ears too. Well it was no fun at the time. However, my mom gave me some Tylenol and I felt much better when I woke up 2 hours later. My mommy and daddy also say that I look really pretty with my ears pierced and they will post some pictures of me with my new studs soon. Anyway, the doctor says that I look really good and I am gaining weight well. I weigh 8 lb 8 oz and I am 20 inches long now!! My parents are also really proud of me because I have been sleeping between 3 & 5 hour intervals during the night. In fact on Saturday night I slept from 10:30 until 2:30, I ate and then I slept until 7 am. Mommy and Daddy were both amazed.

Getting Caught up.

So I have been around for 2 months now and my parents just decided to finally start this blog so I thought I would catch you all up to speed. Since I was born I celebrated my 1st Christmas and New Years. I have gained almost 3 pounds and grown over 2 inches. I have met a lot more people and I have certainly been learning my way around town. Here are a few pictures to help get you guys up to speed.

Let me introduce myself

My name is Jana Elysse. I was born on the 11th of December, 2007 at 7:53 am. My mommy delivered me by c-section at the Methodist Hospital in the medical center of San Antonio, TX. I weighed only 4 lb, 15 oz at birth and was 17.75 inches long. However small I was, my mommy delivered me on the first day to be called full term. I was born very healthy and happy. All of the medical staff at the hospital took great care of me and my mommy. I was very lucky that Granny Kathy came to work on her day off just to take care of us. My Granny Sandra & Grampa Jerry were there along with Crampa Scott & Grandma Kandee. Great Grandma Rosa Lee was there too. We had a whole bunch of visitors. Auntie Kay brought Granny Dorothy, Kyle & Kelsey. Aunt Jenna came to see me and so did Amanda & her mommy. Granny Sandra brought Lynette. Ben & Jen stopped by & so did Big Ben. Heather Jackson brought Quinton to see me. Of course, all of mommy's friends from work were there. Daddy's other friend Ben came by and so did Robbie Strom. Mommy got lots of flowers and other gifts to bring home.
I only stayed in the hospital for two days and then mommy & daddy brought me home.
