Whew....What a Weekend!

I had quite the weekend. The biggest news is I finally got to meet the J's, Great Uncle Jeff & Great Aunt Judy. They packed up everything they own in their Toyota Tacoma and drove 5700 miles from Alaska and now they are here in the great state of Texas to stay. Since they live so far away I hadn't met them yet & I finally got to meet them! Of course I wasn't shy at all, I crawled right over to Aunt Judy and immediately made goo goo eyes at Uncle Jeff.

Then Sunday, mommy, daddy and I made our first trip to Live Oak Park. Grandpa Scott, Grandma Kandee, Uncle Aaron & Averie all met us there. Come to think of it, this was my 2nd picnic, we had so much fun. After we had our picnic, the bows tossed around a football and then we went to the lake and fed the ducks & watched people fish.

Once we got home daddy watched the Cowboys play and then mommy & daddy's friends Uncle Ben & Aunt Jennifer came over with Alex. Mommy & Aunt Jenn cooked dinner while I played with Alex & Uncle Ben, it was a great end to a wonderful weekend!

So I figured if I was gonna brag about all my teeth, I better have at least one picture to prove it. So here it is, me cheesing it and showing off my 6 pearly whites. Hope everyone has a great weekend. By the way, did you notice something?.....it's been less than a week since my last post. I am getting better.

9 Months

Please forgive my mommy for hardly ever posting on my blog. I am so excited about the fact that I am 9 moths old now. I am crawling around really well, just like a pro. This has allowed me to cover a lot of ground and I am able to get into EVERYTHING!! I am also getting really good at pulling myself up and taking a few steps around the furniture. Needless to say my parents are quickly trying to baby proof the house. Who needs baby proofing anyway?

I had my 9 month check-up this last week, I now weigh a whopping 18lb 12oz, and I am 27 inches long!! I also just cut my 6th tooth this week, pretty soon and I won't even have to eat that nasty baby food! Dr. Davis says I am growing wonderfully! Everything is great except I have an ear infection (although my mom couldn't tell since I wasn't even acting sick) and I am now battling diarrhea and a nasty diaper rash from the antibiotics I am taking =( BUMMER!

Each day I am making new sounds and discovering new things. I can clap my hands, dance, and I even am starting to wave!! My parents love to listen to my laugh, so I try to entertain them with it as often as I can.

I am still trying to figure out the sippy cup thing, that is just weird...cold stiff coming out of a hard flat opening?? No thanks, I will take a bottle.
